The past two weeks have been frustrating. Amelia looks great in her new hearing aids but unfortunately her ear infections and fluid are keeping her from hearing well. We go next Wed. for a doctor appt to discuss tubes and she will see the audiologist as well.
Ga pines met with Amelia and Colin this week. They give us information on how to help the kids. They play hearing and listening games with them.
Atlanta Speech School is going well. Everytime we go Amelia seems to not be hearing well??? They just want us to get Amelia's ears cleared so she can have the best chance at learning and listening.
We had music therapy today. Amelia loves the guitar. Basically, the whole point of music therapy is to stimulate her auditory nerve by different pitches/frequencies using musical instruments. (see picture attached of music therapy today)
On a positive note.....Amelia has one tooth now and is rolling over! She is on the move!
