This past weekend was the Lemke Family Reunion at my house. Friday my dad, mom, Aunt Peggy, and Uncle Dan got to go with Amelia to Atlanta Speech School. They got to see her in audiology, took a tour of the school, and then had an individual session with Linda. Linda answered some questions...I always smile now when people are trying to grasp the concept of hearing loss and how much Amelia hears. It is not just about loud/soft. It reminds me that while I like black and white answers, the grey area is where most of life's hard decisions and lessons are learned.
