Latest Audiogram

So after a little stress from Amelia's 1st time in the sound booth we did make an appointment with PENTA (our pediatric ENT) to have her checked out. Her results from today showed that there was not any decline in her hearing and that any loss would be within the norm for a baby that was 8 mos. old and having only her 2nd booth screening. With sound she was hearing at 50 db and all the other sounds were between 50-70 db's which is very similar to her last ABR. Soooo where does this leave us...we have to remember that we are relying on the responses of a 8 mos old strong willed little woman here who at times will dig her feet in the sand and say NO I'm not playing your listening game anymore : ) But honestly we will keep a close eye on everything and be getting regular screenings about once every month or two to insure there are no red flags. If she chooses not to cooperate in about 6 mos we may have another ABR to just be safe. But all in all she is a very happy upbeat little girl who is on the move and beginning to babble some.
