Busy Times

It's busy times again in the Giles household. The Dawgs have started to come in full swing and boy is Amelia excited (just look at the pics). Every time they scored last week she would clap and I think I even heard a sic 'em and that was often (we'll take it when we can). At the end of August she started taking her 1st steps and now she is going all over the place thinking that playroom was built especially for her. On the hearing side of things her last visit to the booth confirmed her ABR from earlier, she is starting to babble and say little things like Ma Ma, Da Da, and Ball. The picture above is Pamela who is from Ga Pines and comes to our house and works with her once to twice a month. Amelia loves her and just smiles every time she comes around! Even more then her she loves that monkey : ) Pamela always brings toys that represent the different ling sound to help provide an association for Amelia. All in all things seem to be going well. Scarlett was even proud of the normalcy of the hearing aids with Colin when he was comparing accomplishments of baby sisters with a girl from down the street and it went something like this....." Well my sister is saying mommy...So does Amelia, she says ball...Well my sister can pick food up with her hands....So does Amelia, and my sister has hearing aids...." kind of neat just seeing how he is proud of his sister and he views that as something special with her.
